1. Korea Entry Visa
Starting from 1 July 2022, HKSAR and BNO passport holders must apply for K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorisation) on the official website 72 hours before departure. The whole online application process takes about 3-3 hours and 5 minutes and requires a payment of KRW 10,000 (about HK$60). After submitting, you will receive a confirmation email within 24-72 hours. K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) is valid for 2 years and can be used indefinitely.

2. Entry into Korea Health Declaration
In addition to applying for K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorisation) before entering Korea, it is also necessary to submit a health declaration form (Q-CODE) online within 72 hours before departure, and to save a screenshot of the two-dimensional code or print a scan to verify that the quarantine unit has been quarantined after entering Korea.

3. Immunisation Requirements, Quarantine Measures, Nucleic Acid Testing for Entry into Korea
As of 8 June 2022, there are no vaccination and quarantine requirements for entry into Korea.
With effect from 3 September 2022, nucleic acid testing (PCR) prior to entry into Korea will be abolished.
From 1 October 2022, nucleic acid testing (PCR) will no longer be required after entering Korea.
Simply put, after 1 October 2022, entry into Korea will be exempt from quarantine, vaccination and nucleic acid testing (PCR) requirements, making the transition truly complete!
However, if you are diagnosed with a novel coronavirus infection in Korea, you will be required to stay in quarantine in a designated hotel for 7 days, and those who are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms should take antipyretic and cold medicine.
4. Requirements for masks when entering Korea
At present, the wearing of masks outdoors is not mandatory in Korea, but it is still necessary to wear masks indoors and when travelling on public transport.
