Latest News on Entry to Thailand
From 1 October, vaccination certificates or PCR test results will no longer be required to enter Thailand. As of 1 July, visitors to Thailand no longer need to apply for a "Test & GO Thailand Pass" and no longer need to wear masks in public places.
Is there no quarantine for entering Thailand from Hong Kong?
Thailand now allows all vaccinated or unvaccinated foreign tourists to enter Thailand without inspection, only passport and air ticket are needed to enter Thailand, visa-free, immunisation paper, PCR-free nucleic acid test.
Thailand Visa
Hong Kong is a visa-free zone and can enter the country visa-free. The period of stay for foreign tourists in Thailand has also been extended from 30 days to 45 days. If you wish to stay longer than 45 days, you must apply for a visa. A "Single Visit Visa" is valid for 3 days. You can enter Thailand once a month for a maximum stay of 60 days.
Thailand Quarantine Requirements
The Thai government has relaxed its mask regulations, no longer requiring visitors to wear masks in public places and not imposing social distance limits on the number of visitors to restaurants and attractions.
How Thailand treats confirmed cases
Asymptomatic patients and those with mild symptoms are exempt from quarantine, but must adhere to disease control measures such as wearing a mask outside the home, keeping a social distance, and washing their hands frequently for 5 days. Tourists can be treated at local clinics, call the Thailand COVID-19 hotline (1422) for assistance.
